Álvaro Gómez is a Spanish designer whose practice lies at the intersection of architecture, sculpture, and design. After an initial phase working as a building restoration architect, he decided in 2022 to redirect his career toward a more experimental and artistic approach, studying at the Istituto Marangoni Design in Milan. Since then, he has been developing his work between Madrid and Milan.
His work focuses on the creation of limited editions sculptural furniture, sculptures, and installations. Through an architectural lens, his pieces explore the balance between formal plasticity and the physical laws that support them, integrating structural logic as part of their aesthetic language.
The human figure plays a central role in his creative practice, as do timeless materials such as bronze, iron, and marble.
